Every Day Occlusion

This course provides simple and effective techniques for the practitioner who wants strategies of occlusal therapy from basic restorative to complex full mouth rehabilitation. You will learn the protocals of when restorative treatment is additive therapy (vertical dimension) verses reductive therapy (equilibration). This course will define modalities of establishing and maintaining occlusal reference plane throughout the treatment. The curriculum is set up with the sound techniques so that you can employ them Monday morning.

You will learn the following:

Step by step diagnosis to assess patient readiness.
Treatment planning for "worn down" dentitions.
To obtain accurate and consistent occlusal records to facilitate reliable laboratory wax-ups.
Simplified occlusal splint therapy - a routine in every practice.
Controlling and recording bite records during the prepping phase.
Occlusal equilibration - determine exaxt timing and force of occlusion.
Linking muscle stability with articulation timing for longevity of restorations.
Using advanced diagnostic strategies for predictable results.
